Skateboarder Stops in Austin on Cross Country Skate Trip (FOX 7 News Austin)

New Zealand skateboarder Rob Thomson stopped in Austin Monday halfway though his cross-country skate across the USA. Thomson started his journey in Key West, FL and hopes to be in Los Angeles by April. Thomson is aiming to break the world skateboard record, which is 3600 miles. He's already skated 2000 miles. He's also skating for charity all donations benefit Lowe's Syndrome research.
